Forum to Discuss Europe’s Nanomedicine Activities
August 19, 2010 – 2:14 amThe ETPN General Assembly & Annual Forum 2010 will take place on 14 and 15 October 2010 in Milan, Italy, and will provide an opportunity to meet the European nanomedicine community. The event will focus on discussing strategic opportunities for nanomedicine stakeholders coming from industry, academia and clinics. A key target of the event will be to raise awareness for translational research and clinical needs in nanomedicine. Among the topics presented at the forum are regenerative medicine, nanodiagnostics and nanopharmaceutics. The two-day programme will include presentations on regulatory issues, industrial opportunities and funding.
The ETP (European Technology Platform) Nanomedicine is an initiative led by industry and the European Commission to address the application of nanotechnology to achieve breakthroughs in healthcare. The ETP supports its members in coordinating joint research efforts and improving communication among the members as well as the European Commission and the European Member States.
