Medical Moulding Webcast Shows How to Reduce Revalidation Costs

September 3, 2010 – 10:12 am

If you live and breathe moulding and don’t mind devoting part of your late afternoon or early evening learning more about it, you might be interested in attending a webcast dedicated to reducing revalidation costs. Titled Easier Medical Injection Moulding Process Revalidation, the webcast will discuss the use of Universal Setup Sheets and in-cavity data. These techniques are used by medical device manufacturers and custom moulders to improve productivity and cut costs, according to Shane Vandekerkhof, who is with RJG, which is sponsoring the event. Presented by Modern Plastics Worldwide, Injection Molding and plasticstoday.com, which are part of  the Canon Communications family, the web event is scheduled for 8 September at 5 PM (London) and 6 PM (Paris).

For many medical moulders, the cost in both time and money to revalidate their injection moulding processes prevents them from moving moulds between presses. The resulting high costs and inefficiencies in press utilisation are difficult to justify in today’s business climate. During the one-hour presentation on Wednesday, Vandekerkhof will explain how to overcome these challenges.

Registration is free.
