RTP Co. Establishes Operation in Brazil
September 9, 2010 – 12:12 pmCustom engineered thermoplastics compounder RTP Co. has opened a sales office and warehouse in Brazil. Located in Alphaville, Barueri, Brazil near São Paulo, the operation provides sales support and a distribution point to the countries of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay in South America.
“The booming economy in Brazil is in need of more sophisticated plastic compounds to respond to increased demand for domestically produced products,” says Jean Sirois, Director of Sales – South America at RTP Co.
As RTP’s first operation in the Americas outside the NAFTA region, establishment of the office and warehouse are a continuation of the company’s ongoing commitment to locally support global OEMs and processors using its custom engineered thermoplastic compounds. It comes just one-year after opening a manufacturing site in Monterrey, Mexico which has allowed the company to better service the Central and South American regions.
