New Infrared Thermometer Has Double Laser Sighting
April 25, 2011 – 10:14 am
A new infrared thermometer with a high precision resolution is available from Optris GmbH. The Optris CSlaser LT is used for the measurement of small temperature differences, starting from 0.025K. CSlaser LT has a double laser sighting. Two emitters follow the infrared optical path to mark the accurate size and spot of the measuring field at every distance. The smallest measurement field of the infrared thermometer is achieved with a size of 1.4 mm in a 70 mm distance.
The infrared thermometer allows temperature measurements from -20 to 150°C. Besides the common two-wire interface for data transfers, the Optris CSlaser LT also offers the possibility to transfer digital data to a PC via a USB interface. Due to the inclusion of the sensor into the Optris CompactConnect software, a complete parameterisation of the sensor is also possible.
