Medtech Investment Day Scandinavia to Take Place on 8 September
September 2, 2011 – 5:22 pmThe Medtech Investment Day Scandinavia, an event designed to connect medtech ventures and investors, will take place at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm on 8 September 2011. The event provides an opportunity for Scandinavian medtech companies to seek funding from venture capitalists, angel investors, private equity investors and industrial investors. It is also meant to provide an update on the latest trends and challenges in the industry.
To qualify, the 25 companies participating had to demonstrate that they had developed an innovative medtech product. During the event, each company will have a chance to demonstrate their products and present their business plans. The emerging company that is considered to have the best chance of succeeding will receive the Medtech Investment Day Award 2011.
Other speakers include Torbjörn Kronander, President of Sectra Imtec; Dan Pitulia, CEO of Carmel Pharma and John Brennan, Director Regulatory and Technical Affairs at Eucomed.
Medtech Investment Day launched in 2008. Last year, 30 investors met with 22 medtech ventures.
