The IVAM Product Market “High-tech for Medical Devices” will cover a new subject at this year’s COMPAMED, which takes place 19 to 21 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. IVAM Microtechnology Network will launch its “Electronics Manufacturing Services for Medical Devices” (EMS) at the show. EMS is currently a key topic in the field of medical engineering, especially because of DIN EN ISO 13485 and the fact that many manufacturers of finished devices rely on EMS providers.
A booth at the show will be dedicated to EMS for medical devices. Among the exhibitors is PrehTonics GmbH, which develops printed circuit board assemblies and complete systems by integrating the latest industrial PCs, display solutions, user interfaces, and microcontroller platforms.
An estimated 40 companies and institutes from the field of medical subcontracting will be exhibiting at the IVAM joint pavilion. Among those companies are the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT, 3D-Micromac AG, alpha-board GmbH, ACEOS GmbH, Bartels Mikrotechnik GmbH, Micro Systems (UK) Ltd, PiezoMotor Uppsala AB, NanoFocus AG, IMS bv, Specialty Coating Systems, and Meise GmbH Medizintechnik.Yvonne Klöpping
