PolyOne Exhibits Expanded Portfolio of Colourants at Compamed 2011
November 16, 2011 – 4:26 pmPolyOne Corp., a provider of specialised polymer materials, services and solutions, will exhibit a newly expanded portfolio of specialised solutions for the healthcare industry at Compamed 2011. Building on the company’s growing mix of healthcare materials, services and solutions, this portfolio now includes new colourants for its Dow Health+ polymers and Eastman Tritan copolyester as well as an expanded range of vinyl.
PolyOne’s OnColor HC Plus colourants are global formulations with biocompatibility approvals in both liquid and masterbatch forms. They have now been formulated for compatibility with Dow Health+ and Eastman Tritan polymers. Because the colourants have been pretested, manufacturers and designers using the Eastman material and incorporating the precertified colourants can shorten development and testing times.
In May 2011, PolyOne introduced the Geon SF, a family of vinyl compounds specifically formulated to expand the processing window and design flexibility of rigid vinyl, helping customers to improve productivity and differentiate their products.
