Public Service Events, a producer of conferences focusing on issues facing the public sector, will hold the conference “Advances in Medical Science: Collaboration for Growth” on 29 February 2012. The conference will be held at Central Hall Westminster in London.
The conference is designed to offer an opportunity for the science community, the UK National Health Service (NHS) and industry to come together. The event will be a showcase of recent developments in medical science. It will include speeches and masterclass sessions on the latest innovations.
The conference will focus on topics such as innovation, regulation and collaboration. Some of the invited speakers (yet to be confirmed) include Chris Born, Managing Director of NHS Global, and Professor Alastair Buchan, Head of the Medical Sciences Division, University of Oxford. A speaker from the Technology Strategy Board will hold a session on the Small Business Research Initiative, which aims to use government procurement to drive innovation.
Delegate tickets are sold for a rate of £295 + VAT for the public sector, £895 + VAT for the private sector and £195 + VAT for charities.
