MEDTEC UK 2013 will take place at Olympia in London
The UK medical device manufacturing market continues to grow, despite challenging economic conditions. The continuing success of the MEDTEC UK trade show is a clear indicator of this.
Next year the show will move to London. MEDTEC UK organiser UBM Canon, which also publishes this blog, has announced that the event will be held at the Olympia event venue on 1–2 May. The new location will give exhibitors and visitors a higher return on investment. About 70% of current MEDTEC UK visitors will have less than one hour’s commute to the show.
MEDTEC UK 2013 will be more focused on the conference aspect of the show and will include key presentations on leading technological advancements and next-generation thinking. For exhibitors, UBM Canon has introduced a new low-cost, all-inclusive exhibitor package with a fresh approach to stand design, construction and staging.

I think the percentage of attendees will be hight than 70% because I will have no intention of travelling to London for this event. I think there are many other attendees who will not be prepared make the longer journey from the northers regions.
Longer journey times, more cost, MEDTEC is good, but not that good.
