At this year’s Pharmapack, taking place 13 and 14 February in Paris, Raumedic is going to show its new technologies for polymer products for the pharmaceutical and medical industry. The focus of the presentation on booth 366 is on products for injection, drug application and pharmaceutical packaging. At booth 376, Raumedic will showcase its tubing systems for pharmaceutical filling processes in cooperation with Sartorius Stedim Biotech. In the field of injection systems, Raumedic offers fully automatic assembly of steel needles whether they are glued or directly moulded including siliconisation. Camera controls and a certified quality management system according to DIN ISO 13485 consistently consistently high-quality products.

Materials that substitute glass such as cyclic-olefin-copolymeres (COC) provide a high cost effectiveness and increased safety for users. Raumedic develops customised drug delivery systems which offer better handling, exact dosage, easier and safer application as well as better patient compliance. For example the development of a dose-sipping-syringe for liquid drugs, which reduces the risk of dosing errors with its flexible and exact dose setting and additionally offers a fun factor for children.

In recent years, the pharmaceutical industry has been developing drugs that are becoming more and more sensitive. The demands on pharmaceutical packaging are also increasing to ensure that these active ingredients are protected. A drug container with high barrier properties provides improved safety and prolonged storage life for medicaments.

In cooperation with Sartorius Stedim Biotech Raumedic also offers silicone and thermoplastic tubing as well as completely assembled sterile packed set systems for fast and safe connections in bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing and filling processes at booth 376.
