March 14, 2013 – 5:50 pm

Improving materials information management can significantly impact productivity and reduce time to market, support innovation and reduce risks for medical device companies. A webinar taking place on 21 March will detail how to organise, manage and apply materials data. The webinar is co-hosted by Ethicon Surgical Care and materials information expert Granta Design. Material specialists, designers and development engineers can benefit from learning how to improve the organisation of materials data.

• How proprietary data can be augmented by authoritative reference data on medical materials properties, human biological materials and materials application knowledge from previously approved (i.e., ‘predicate’) devices
• How you could organise and manage your materials information in a controlled and secure manner, and apply it in making more effective materials decisions

The webinar will take place on 21 March 2013 at 3 p.m. GMT. It will be moderated by Shana Leonard, Executive Editor, UBM Canon MedTech Group.
