Oliver Medical Acquires Tolas Healthcare Packaging

It’s a wrap: Oliver Medical, a Mason Wells company, has acquired Tolas Healthcare Packaging effective December 31.

The integration of the two organizations will begin immediately; production and customer service at both companies will continue uninterrupted, according to Oliver Medical.

“We’re looking forward to building on the strength of both organizations,” said Jerry Bennish, president and CEO. “Combining hot-melt and water-based adhesive technologies will provide a wide range of solutions from a single source,” he added. The acquisition also increases Oliver Medical’s market presence, broadens its product line, and expands its coating and manufacturing operations, according to Bennish.

A supplier of die cut lid, roll stock and pouch products, Oliver has manufacturing operations in Grand Rapids, MI, USA, and Venray, Netherlands. A sales office is located in Suzhou, China. Tolas Healthcare Packaging manufactures sterile-grade packaging, including peelable or tear-open pouches, and heat-seal coated lidding. It operates two facilities in the United States.
