Parylene Coatings Seminars

Organised by Specialty Coating Systems, the seminars will address some of the most common surface modification challenges facing the medical device and other industries.

The company says delegates will learn about Parylene’s
-Moisture barrier properties
-Dry-film lubricity that reportedly competes with PTFE
-Biostability and biocompatibility for medical implants such as stents, pacemakers
-Chemical resistance against almost reportedly all chemicals
-Thermal capabilities up to 450°C
-Dielectric resistance (7kV @ 25µm)
-Suitability for other medical device applications such as ocular and cochlear implants.
