Joining the lineup of MEDTEC trade fairs in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Germany, MEDTEC France debuts at the Micropolis Exhibition Centre in Besançon on 22 and 23 April.
France is the second largest producer of medical devices in Europe, and Besançon sits at the hub of one of the highest concentrations of medical manufacturing in the country. Moreover, the region’s expertise in microtechnology puts its entrepreneurs among the avant garde in the development of next-generation devices. Within this context, MEDTEC France provides suppliers and OEMs with a unique opportunity to test concepts, exchange ideas and develop partnerships.
In addition to exhibitors showcasing medical-grade materials, electronic assemblies, automation systems and countless other products and services routinely sourced by medical device OEMs, MEDTEC France will host a conference devoted to technical and regulatory issues. Industry experts will explore such topics as recent revisions to the medical device directives, risk management applied to biologics and new developments in biosensors.
The new show comes on the heels of the just completed MEDTEC UK event in Birmingham and the MEDTEC Europe show in Stuttgart, both of which posted impressive gains in attendance. The MEDTEC events are organized by Canon Communications, which also produces this blog.Norbert Sparrow
