Editor in Chief Norbert Sparrow feels equally at home in Europe and the United States. Born in Germany and raised in Toronto and Los Angeles, he earned his master’s degree in journalism in Strasbourg, France. He wrote for a variety of newspapers and magazines during the 12 years that he lived in Paris and Strasbourg. Norbert returned to Los Angeles in 1986, and joined Canon Communications (now UBM Canon) in 1995 as editor of European Medical Device Manufacturer. |

Yvonne Klöpping joined UBM Canon in 2008, coming from another B2B publisher. Fluent in English and German, she started her journalism career as a reporter and news editor at her university daily, the award-winning Daily Titan. After graduating with honours from California State University, Fullerton in 2003, Yvonne went to work for a trade publisher in Torrance, CA, USA, before moving back to her native Germany. Yvonne works as Associate Editor for European Medical Device Technology (EMDT). |

Miki Anzai is Associate Editor of Japan Medical Design & Manufacturing Technology. She joined UBM Canon in 2010 and is based in the company’s Tokyo office, where she writes about Japan’s medtech industry. Miki formerly worked as a finance reporter at Bloomberg News after serving as a media and investor relations manager at Citibank. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Sacred Heart and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. |
| Associate Editor Camilla Andersson joined UBM Canon in March 2011. Camilla was born in Sweden and is fluent in Swedish and English. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Francisco State University. Before joining UBM Canon, Camilla worked as an editor for the risk management consulting firm Karita Research. She also has previous experience as an online community manager and freelance reporter. |

Dave Selin |
Dave Selin is Manager of European Sales for Uson, which first developed high-accuracy leak-testing methods for NASA, and since 1963 has been at the forefront of leak and flow testing for, among others, the medical device and medical packaging industries. Dave works with medical device companies throughout Europe as well as in India, the Middle East and parts of Africa. Prior to joining Uson (and Ai Qualitek, a UK leak detection specialist manufacturer acquired by Uson in 2003), David was Senior Systems Design Engineer with the Philips Company in Cambridge, UK. |
